Girlguiding Surrey West is one of the biggest Guiding “counties” in the country with close to 10,000 members ranging in age from 5 to 95. Every week across the county, local Rainbow, Brownie, Guide and Ranger units are delivering great Guiding and helping our members to do their best in life. The girls are helped by volunteers: it takes 1800 volunteers in Surrey West to make a difference to our younger members. Surrey West is proud to play a part in this and our aim is to continue to be one of the largest, strongest and most professional Counties in Girlguiding UK.

As an alternative to the water based features of Paxmead, why not try Girlguiding Surrey West’s other campsite – Herons Wey. Herons Wey is set in 50 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside, it is surrounded by woodland and partially bordered by the River Wey, offering many opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. On the same site is the purpose built residential centre, Weyside.
